network and nervous system
Networking is like the nervous system because you can share data everywhere. In the nervous system, the brain would be the router because it controls any traffic coming through. The brain is connected to your spine so the spine in the network would be called a switch. It distributes signals to all the computers and devices. A router has a small computer inside of it that defines all the computers and devices on your computer and gives it a number which is called. It can control anything. It controls what is received and what is sent out. A switch sends traffic through your network to the places it needs to go. The fastest switch is called gigabit and they're perfect for streaming videos and more. This is how a network and a nervous system are similar.
